About

Heavily inspired by Michael Cox’s Zonal Marking, which sets the standard for online tactical analysis, Tactical Fouling is a blog dedicated to the analysis of football matches at the highest level.

Articles may be published on matches from all of the major European leagues, but La Liga, the Premier League, and the Champions League take priority.

Analysis focuses on a host of factors which influence the game, and attempts to condense each game into a few tactical trends. Some articles are far shorter than others, but still accomplish the task of summarizing key ideas. Indeed, the longer an article, the more intriguing the tactical battle.

The frequency of posts on this space varies. The dissection of big games at the business end of the season is virtually guaranteed, but the analysis of other games on a weekly basis is dependent on my schedule.

Thanks for the tier list. Tbh I feel much better with it being created and managed by a fan rather than the company.

Seeing as I know little to no one who knows much about either archetype, I was wondering if maybe you could give any pointers as to meshing an Earthbound Immortal deck with Gravekeepers? I feel like GK would give EI a good anti-meta defense, and their fierce protection of Necrovalley helps as well. I just don’t really know how to mesh the two together; so far it’s just a semi-lethal chimera of the two. There’s no synergy, but I can tell they’re trying.

I understand that you have a busy schedule, but I would really appreciate it if you could cover Bayern Munich games.
